Assistant Manager - Tax

Beacon Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Assistant Manager - Tax to oversee tax compliance, filings, and regulatory matters. The role involves managing income and sales tax reporting, handling audits, and ensuring compliance with federal and provincial tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in taxation laws and reporting standards.

• Manage income tax and sales tax filings
• Oversee withholding tax compliance
• Handle tax audits, notices, and correspondence with authorities
• Review contracts for tax implications
• Compute corporate tax and advance tax
• Track changes in tax laws and ensure company compliance
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation
• Support statutory and external audits

• CA Articleship completed
• 2-3 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax and withholding provisions
• Working knowledge of Sales Tax and provincial tax laws
• Familiarity with IFRS / IAS 12 and tax reporting standards
• Experience handling tax audits and notices
• Proficiency in IRIS and provincial tax portals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
